VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS

COMMUNITY LIVING BELLEVILLE AND AREA

Community Living Belleville and Area are looking for volunteer board members preferably with experience in one of the following: Education, building/construction, Finance, legal, Real-estate and/or Risk Management.

WHO WE ARE

Community Living Belleville and Area is an accredited non-profit organization that has provided a range of services and supports to over 150 adults, youth and children with intellectual disabilities and their families for over 70 years. Guided by our corporate Mission and Vision, we are committed to supporting people with disabilities through the promotion of their own individual empowerment and autonomy over their own lives. We provide a variety of supports and services that include: Residential, Respite, Families First, Associate/Host Family, Transition to Home of Our Own, Volunteer and Community Participation.

We are funded by Ontario's Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and Ministry of Health. Additional funding is generated through special events, grants, donations and bequests.

Board meetings are held monthly and scheduled on the fourth Thursday of the month at 11 am with lunch provided, with the option of participating via zoom.  Board meetings are not held in the months of July, August or December.
